William H. Blevins, 75, of Enon passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Alter Care of Hilliard following a lengthy illness.

He was born November 12, 1941 in Weeksbury, KY the son of Ralph and Milda (Mills) Blevins. Mr. Blevins was a 1960 graduate of Springfield High School and worked for the William Bayley Company. He went to work at the General Motors, Delphi Chassis Plant, retiring in 1996 with 31 years of service, and then worked at Village Hardware in Enon. Bill was a member of the New Carlisle First Freewill Baptist Church, was the sound man for the Enon Gospel Singers for 12 years, was an avid bowler and fisherman, and a huge fan of Ohio State Football.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ocelene “Sue” (Hensley) Blevins; two daughters and a son-in-law Angie Blevins, and Lorrie and Daniel Mauersberg, all of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren Tanner B. Wetzel and Taylor Elizabeth Wetzel; great granddaughter Rileigh Wetzel; niece Andrea Kirk and nephew Andrew Blevins, both of Sevierville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his brother Tony Blevins and sister Judy Daniel. The service to honor Bill’s life will be Thursday at 2:00 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Mark Decker officiating.
