Early voting for residents of Clark County will begin in October for the November 5, 2019 General Election.
This year only one seat will be challenged in our community. There is one seat up for grabs on the ballot for the Mad River Township Trustees.
With over 30 years in the position, Trustee Kathy Estep is being challenged by local resident Todd Pettit.
David Rudy is running unopposed for the position of Fiscal Officer for the township.
There will be no changes to the Enon Village Council as incumbents Jeremy Whitacre and David Babcock are running unopposed. Enon Mayor Tim Howard is also the only option on the ballot this year.
Two seats are open for Greenon Local School Board and current members Dennis Henry and Mark Remmetter are also running unopposed.
Greenon Local is asking voters to approve a 6.55 mill levy that will generate $1,806,472 according to ballot language. This is a “substitute for an existing levy”.
The Village of Enon is asking for a renewal of a 2.5 mill levy for the operation of the police department.
