Greenon senior wrestler Jon Erickson extended his career for at least one more weekend as he qualifed for the District Wrestling Tournament next weekend at Goshen High School by finishing in 3rd place at the Tipp City Sectional. 

 Erickson went 3-1 in the 160 lb weight class to improve his season record to 26-7.  Erickson clinched a spot in the District tournament when he pinned Oakwood's Dan Pohlman in 33 seconds. 

Two other Greenon wrestler's qualifed as alternates for the District tournament.  Junior's Spencer Gibson (23-8 record) and Tyler Devore both got 5th place in the tournament.  Marshall McMillan was the other placer for Greenon as he took 6th place in the 119 lb weight class.
